PERSISTENCE OF DATA GATHERED BY WIRELESS GEOSENSORS NETWORKS IN ENVIRONMENT GRID

PERSISTENCIA DE DATOS RECOLECTADOS POR REDES INALÁMBRICAS DE GEOSENSORES EN AMBIENTE GRID

Abstract: Wireless Sensors Networks allow to solve problems in different fields such as environment, health, constructions and many others; making use of three very important subjects such as perception, communications and computing which interrelated allow accomplishing a process that starts with the perception through the sensors, whether insitu or remote. In this stage it is monitored and measures a physical, chemical or any other type phenomenon , to then use a type of communication that allows to send information to the interested entities, the aforementioned communication it is performed through wireless technologies because it offers very important characteristics to the development of sensors networks for instance the mobility and the use of the air as a way to transport data, when the data or information gets to its destination it begins the stage of informatics where the storage of information process takes place, with the purpose of giving the pertinent use according to the pursued objective, for instance in the area that studies the earths such as the geoprocessing, the georefenciation and others.

Resumen: Las redes inalámbricas de sensores permiten solucionar problemas de diferentes ámbitos tales como ambientales, salud, construcción y muchos otros; haciendo uso de tres temáticas muy importantes como son la percepción, las comunicaciones y la computación, las cuales interrelacionadas permiten llevar a cabo un proceso que inicia con la percepción a través de los sensores ya sean in-situ o remotos, en esta etapa se monitorea y mide un fenómeno físico, químico o de cualquier otro tipo, para luego emplear un tipo de comunicación que permita enviar la información a las entidades interesadas, dicha comunicación se realiza a través de las tecnologías inalámbricas, debido a que éstas ofrecen características muy importantes para el desarrollo de redes de sensores como por ejemplo la movilidad y el uso del aire como medio de transporte para los datos, en el momento que los datos o información llega a su destino inicia la etapa de informática, donde se realiza el proceso de almacenamiento de la información con la finalidad de dar el uso pertinente según el objetivo perseguido, por ejemplo en el área que estudia la tierra se tiene el geoprocesamiento, la georeferenciación y otras.
